Nothing new. All my years as a news manager and having AP as one of my vendors... it was like dealing with the SS. For what's supposed to be a news cooperative, they rolled like a bunch of thugs exacting every penny they could.
I recall many years ago in North Central Wisconsin, they asked to take a meeting with me under the pretext of doing lunch to see how "They could better serve us." Within two minutes of darkening the door to my office they presented me with a cease and desist letter written by some Chicago lawyer telling me that I was violating our agreement by posting their content to our web site.
I tossed 'em out in the snow and took their poorly written crap off our site.
'Nuff said. _________________ www.voiceoverdrew.com

Although I have a full head of hair, I'm quite ribald. |
