SPRINGFIELD, IL – State Senator Dan Rutherford (R-Pontiac) has now joined Twitter, the microblogging social networking site.

“Twitter is an excellent resource that allows constituents and friends around Illinois to keep up with the latest developments of the Illinois General Assembly,” Rutherford said. “The Internet and Web sites like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and DanRutherford.com are important to enabling legislators to spread and share information to educate the public about issues that affect them on a daily basis.”
