The Carbon Tax bill was voted on this week ... but the thing is 936 pages and "The rules require that the amendment be read".
So, they hired this speed-reader.
What a gig!

Actually....I had quiet the opposite reaction to the whole proceeding...a farce perhaps; funny, not so much.

Actually, my reaction was first to be down right pissed off. It's a 936 page document that will spend millions of our tax dollars and affect our personal freedoms as well as present approx. $3,000 in new taxes per family ... and they don't even have the decency to actually read the whole thing (in one way or another) before voting on it??!! ... etc. ... etc.. etc... but thought I'd spare the good folks of this board my political .. err.. bias  and just point out the humorous aspects of what it must have been like to be that poor speed reader in front of Congress.
I thought he had pretty good diction!
Hey, for a gig like that, do you get paid by the word?
