|

This has been a wonderful afternoon and evening with some of the friends I've made in and around New York City. The fun started with the lovely and talented Liz de Nesnera when she gave me a ride from the Newark Airport to my hotel.
We were joined in our conversation by new voice talent Mark Stewart and had a very nice time talking with him and answering some of his questions.
Right about the time Liz had to leave for home, Melissa Exelberth picked me up.
Thanks to Melissa's mad skillz we were able to avoid nearly all of the Friday evening traffic and got in to town in time to meet Michael Schoen and his wife Diane Diamond for a memoral pizza dinner in the West Village.
After dinner, since I'd never been to the Village before, Melissa, Michael and Diane walked me around to see some of the sights.
I had no idea there was a transporter portal in the Village that would take us to Paris and back in an instant. We were able to find a nice young man who was willing to snap a photo of us to document our journey. We had a truly delightful time. I'll post more photos as I have them this weekend as part of my continuing studies with Marice Tobias. _________________ Be well,

..and it was a late Spring Friday night in the Village -- and the place was hopping!

It was GREAT to see Bob & meet Mark...SO SORRY I had to split before you got there Melissa! (I just made it home in time for 7pm when my aide had to leave)
Yep, you KNOW you like someone when you look forward to driving to the airport to pick them up! _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

Chrissy,
Well, there's yet more traveling in the offing. But, we'll save that for another day and time. Meanwhile, here are some more photos from today. First, a group shot of everyone taking part in the Marice Tobias class, except Marice herself and Hollis, our engineer who was taking the photo.
You can see Anthony, Melissa, Mary and Marian in this group, if you look closely enough. After the class was finished, Melissa and I got to hang out with the one and only Patrick O'Connor.
Since it was Paddyo, of course, it had to be an Irish pub, in this case a place called Kennedy's. Very nice. And when our visit with Patrick was done ...
... we got to meet Patrick's wonderful Portuguese Water Dog, Bailey.
A wonderful day and evening ... to be following by another tomorrow. _________________ Be well,
