Actor needed for emotional role – One day high pay
Date: 2009-04-17, 12:52PM EDT

My deceased aunt gave my two kids a Cocker Spaniel a few months back. The dog has been a terror and become overwhelming for me. I am a single father raising two young children. I cannot face telling the kids that the dog must go. I have found a good home for the dog, and just need someone to transport the dog, and play the villain.

Premise: You will be the dog walker hired by daddy (me) to walk Skittles. I will introduce you to the kids, and you will tell them you are going to help Skittles get her exercise when Daddy is too busy to walk her. At that point you will walk Skittles to your car and take her to her new family 20 minutes from my place. Then return holding just a leash. The story will be that Skittles broke free of the leash and took off. At this point prepare for crying, things being thrown at you, and possibly cursing. My kids are young and dramatic, their girls.

Pay will be $500. The job will take roughly 2 hours at best.

Oh my.... I don't think I could break little girls' hearts for any amount of money. Wouldn't the money be better spent on a dog trainer?

Craigslist = Creepslist. I would never do even the simplest transaction through it.

I gotta tell ya...I am laughing while reading this. I can totally relate to feeling like such drastic measures might be needed. Now, I would never actually DO that. I just accept that sometimes I AM the bad guy, but it takes thick skin.

Too stinkin' funny.

Maybe they guy's a radio station AE who writes his own ad copy. Naw, can't be. The rest of the piece was coherent.

I was going to start a new thread for this, but Craigslist and stupid typo seemed to already be in play here, so here you go...

This is an opportunity for Full and Part Time work. Make between $100 and $300 each day standing or sitting behind the main actors in films, commercials and TV shows. You may be asked to ride a bicycle, play cards, drink coffee in a coffee shop, or simply talk to someone.

We look for people from all backgrounds, so no experience is required! You DO NOT have to be a professional! We need all types of people to make the background scenes look as realistic as possible.

Call our Casting Managers 24/7 at: 1-866-338-7691

There is no experience required! You must be able to show up on time and follow directions!

Weather you have always dreamed of being on TV, or just like the idea of it, call us NOW to make it a reality!

CALL 1-866-338-7691 to start your career today!

I was all set to call until I saw the typo. I'm not a meteorologist.

I hear deja vu in my head as I write this, but when I see an audition request on a p2p site that's full of typos I just delete it automatically. If they don't know enough or care enough to write basik Englitch, I can just imagine how bad it would be to work with them.

I hear a distant bell with the first CL poster. Having known some truly evil dogs in my life (almost every one of the little Chinese dogs my mother ever owned) and having been a dirt poor actor much of my life, there was a time I might have done worse to a dog for less, to save someone's sanity...........but I'm a reformed dog lover today......woof.
