While every school child in the USA knows of Paul Revere and his ride, there was another very significant ride that does not get much press. The ride of Capt. Martin Gambill

Captain Martin Gambill was brother to my Great, great, great….Grandfather.

Kin or not, the folks in Northwest NC, Southwest VA, and what later became Northeastern TN are rightly proud of this feat.
