Do you ever dig through your web stats to see exactly who's visiting your site?
That's a summary of operating systems that have visited my site so far in Feb. It's amazing how dominant Microsoft really is. Now what do you suppose determines the difference between "OS unknown" and "other"? _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

Mine shows up as text information instead of a graphic. This one lists the browser type AND also indicates the OS the browser is running on. Anything with "Gecko" or "Ge" are Mozilla/Firefox browsers.

yeah, I've got Analog and Webalizer through CPanel. All kinds of useful, and perhaps useless info in there. Nice to see what gets the most reaction though.

So Doc...
It looks really cool and useful.
How do we get Google Analytics...free, pay for it, rub sticks together, hold our breath???? Well, the website says "by invitation only" so can you invite us to the party?
Thanks,

Dave,
Ooops! Forgot about G.A. still being in beta. You can sign yourself up at: http://www.google.com/analytics/sign_up.html
But, you'll probably have to wait a while for the invite. But, the wait will be well worth it - I guarantee! |

I was wondering. Read Doc's first post and jumped on over to check it out, but apparently I'm not cool enough to be invited to the party just yet. Oh well, signed up and I'll wait.
Does it offer stuff other a s don't?

Brian,
LMAO
I really apologize for not recognizing G.A.'s beta limitations in my first post. Must be frustrating to discover something really cool, only to discover you can't get access to it just yet.
Google Analytics is more complete than any one webmaster will ever need. I find it to be an amazing tool and the best website analysis I've EVER seen. AND - it's absolutely free.
Here are some of its features: http://www.google.com/analytics/feature_fast.html
Be patient. You won't be disappointed. Hey, Google should be paying me for this. <eg> |
