I have no idea here. I created a very quick alert for a fantasy sports app that will be available for purchase on the iPhone. How it will function is when there is breaking news (ie. injury reports, scores, etc.)...this alert will sound while the user is on the app. I could charge a flat rate for creating the alert and know for sure how much I will get paid or I'm thinking I should get a portion of the price that people pay to download. I'm assuming .99 for the download. Thing is....I have NO clue how well the app will be received. 100,000 people could download it...or 100...I really don't know. I was thinking either .05/.99?? I don't know...anyone else with experience with this??? Suggestions?? Thanks!
