Just heard from an overseas producer that I have been paid "late" for a documentary narration I did a few weeks ago. As the job was done on the 9th June 2009 I wasn't in the least concerned. An apology was given to me on behalf of the client along with the reason for the delay.

".....he has gone through lot of trouble, some dacoits (armed robbers)entered his house and held him and his family on gunpoint."

I think, in fairness to the client, he has had far more important things on his mind than settling my invoice.

I hope you're charging him interest on the late payment.

Oddly enough, I too have a client who is delinquent and unable to pay, in part, due to his family being held hostage at gunpoint. Unfortunately, in this case, it was my former client himself wielding the gun. The last time I saw his face, it was on TV. He was wearing his orange prison-issue jump suit in court, answering charges of arson (2 counts), kidnapping, and attempted murder.
Something tells me I won't be seeing that check any time soon.

Maybe later he and the chain gang can come over and work off the debt in your yard.

I should be more forgiving - it is probably gun-wielding robbers who are blocking my emails to Scott Rogo of TRT Productions who still owes me money from last August.

Ack, did I reveal his name? My apologies to Mr. Rogo. Of Boynton Beach, FL.

For legal reasons members of the the VO-BB should disregard the above post regarding Mr Scott Rogo of TRT Productions Boynton Beach, FL. who owes money (voice over fees) from August 2008.

Anyone claiming Mr Scott Rogo of TRT Productions Boynton Beach, FL. owes money (voice over fees) from August 2008 should look to Mr Scott Rogo of TRT Productions Boynton Beach, FL. for payment, although the evidence would suggest that Mr Scott Rogo of TRT Productions Boynton Beach, FL. is unlikely to do anything about it.

Thank you.
