Thank you Lee, Bob, and everyone else who joins in later today (I'll be in an area without an outside connection for most of the day) 
At least someone got me a cake this year, lol!
Parents didn't get their logistics down and somehow I got the call to figure out what kind of cake to get, order it, and pick it up... bit of confusion his morning when I stopped by to help my dad out and I dropped off my own birthday cake)
On the flip side, I had a nice cake made by the gf's mom last night. It was a bit of a shared party since a member of her family had a birthday on July 2nd.
Well... back to work for me. Presentations, vulnerability assessments, and C&A documentation don't write themselves... and apparently not by other members of the staff either.

Back to the salt mine indeed...
It'll be nice to breathe again come August (schedule opens up more than a little thanks to the end of one degree, among other things).
Thanks for the b-day greetings everyone! When I wasn't working, I managed to have a rather enjoyable holiday, including the house hunting. 
BTW: Cake was Cookies 'n Creme with Banana ice cream swapped for the vanilla... wasn't expecting it to be this good.
