I was surfin' around YouTube this evening and ran up on the old C|Net Central tv show from the late 90's. I remember waiting every weekend to see it and find out what was new and upcoming in the digital world. I think you'll enjoy this one...has to do with those "new fangled DVD things." Pay attention to the prices of that stuff from back then...WOW! Plus as a bonus, you get to hear DLF intro the show!

Enjoy!

I used to love C|Net. That's the first place I ever saw Soledad O'Brien, Sophie Formica, even Ryan Secrest.
Then, later, there was ZD-Net, which became Tech TV, which was eventually swallowed by G4. Tech TV was great.

DVD players for $1,000 just 12 years ago, and I bought one for $29 a couple of years ago....sheesh. And my first VHS player was well over $700 some 30 years ago, about $2,500 in today's money.

If I remember, VHS cameras were over $1,000 back then too, but I just bought the Flip digital video camera from Woot the other day for $79 and it's great.

Now if they could just do that with cars....
