VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

this is a new web-video product i've been working on for a lot longer than i thought i'd be. edwardsville, illinois was my test market. the idea is to market this grass-roots service to chambers of commerce & municipalities - so far the response has been good - but that was before we actually had a product on line.

please let me know what you think.

TownCast this will take you to the chambers site - then just click the "TownCast" link.

also - let me know if you hit something that doesn't work. we are still having some issues with ie 6 - so if you still have that - upgrade or something!

believe it or not - the goal is to have as little "professional" VO as possible. i want the people to tell their own stories. i should have oak ridge, tn up in a few weeks.

Not sure what script Bob is referring to - I didn't find anything narrated by Todd, and the only thing I saw that hinted at what TownCast is, is buried in the Shoot it Proud section. What am I missing? I gather that this is a project for high school students to capture their town in video? Where can I go on the site to find out more?

Nice idea. I agree on the speedy read being an issue on this particular video. Also the video didn't auto play when I got to it and there was no arrow indicating click to start. I played dumb for a few seconds (a specialty) and then clicked on the screen and on it went.

Good idea. Good video but I also agree about the speed. I feel it should be a little slower. But just my opinion.
When I went to link, I also had to click the video to play as well.

Still doesn't automatically play with Firefox 3.5.2 on a Mac. Some of the other videos are quite nice for the purpose, the Mayor, the band, the watershed.
