This is yesterday's Foggy Friday morning.
Apparently, Hurricane Bill is going to make trouble for costal travel later this weekend. We're going to beat the storm— leaving this morning. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

The work from Friday:
Here's a painting that was finished the day before:
And here is DeWitt's Student, Drew Hodges. He's the opne who arranged the whole trip for the sake of getting away from the city and getting into some serious watercolor instruction.

lovely spot and nice work. I have always envied the fine artist who can do their work without a lot of technology, crews, collaborators etc.
Having said that, the first thing I would do if confronted with a blank canvas would be to look around for the director, designers and fellow performers to find out what I should do. ;-) |

What a special time for you three. I love DeWitt's paintings. I also love the fog. |

Monhegan is such a wonderous place...
Lise and i went there last year via Port Clyde, and a touch of sea sickness ..
well worth it after taking the trail to the cliffs....
glad to see you had a fine time, DB _________________ "the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best" |
