Looking to find a an older-model MARANTZ PMD 200/220 CASSETTE RECORDER.
Available in the early 1980s then upgraded to a lighter-weight similar unit (Marantz 222).

The MARANTZ PMD 200 operates on a 4 D-size batteries. It measures 11"L by 8"W and 3"D

I will be visiting a friend who may still have a couple of these next weekend.
I'll let him know you are looking. He used to do conference recording with them, but now digital/CD is the norm...

If you run across one or two at a very reasonable price please let me know. My news director has a PMD 660 digital recorder... but he prefers these monsters...

Ok... I now have 2 Marantz PMD220 recorders in working condition!
Also a Superscope EC-5 Mic
