You know...I've never seen them together at the same gig. You might be onto something. Ninja

Philip... a similar look can be an easy deception.

They both have different 'domes', and Murray will be 86 this October. I'm not sure if James has hit 60 yet.

He does that to throw people off the scent. Catch him off guard and ask what it was like meeting Jackie Stewart.

Many years ago my father was a steward at the Lydden Hill racing circuit. I was too young to go out onto the circuit as a Marshall, so I was assigned to the timekeepers box as a runner, carrying messages and documents from the timekeepers to the pits and back. The BBC would often broadcast the rallycross events live. Murray Walker had his own little room on one end of the box (actually a wooden building on stilts) and I would occasionally do odd jobs for him.

Watching the races with the ultimate in live commentary just a few feet away. Grand indeed.

Here is Keith Ripp's classic encounter with Mabbs bank at Lydden. I remember it well. Laugh

Cheers.

Mike.

That was clearly a real Mini. A professional race car wouldn't have looked like a pile of coleslaw after such a wreck.
