VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

My oldest son Eric and I had the delight of meeting a couple of voice actors for lunch yesterday here in Charlotte.

From the left that's Ted Stewart, Diane Merritt, me and Eric. We had a great time talking about all sorts of things, not just voiceover ... though plenty of that. We're going to try to do this again in about a month, maybe with a slightly larger crowd next time.

That shirley looks like a fun bunch. Thanks for sharing the pic, Bob! Any chance that we'll be seeing Ted and Diane on the board (assuming that they aren't already here) in the near future?

Eric pointed out to me after we were on our way home from our lunch that I'd forgotten to mention the VO-BB during our visit together. I'll just have to make sure I atone for my sins when we do this again in about a month.

Ted is. Diane drove up from Greenville, South Carolina. We threw this today very last minute so I really didn't do a good job of spreading the word around that we were doing it. I promise to do better for the next one which should be sometime in late September or early October.

As an aside...Eric...I know you probably realize this, but you have been given such an amazing gift by your dad...showing you how a business is run, how to reach out to people, how to meet deadlines...all at a very young age.

I am very jealous of your head start!
I am thrilled for you that you have such an amazing mentor.

I also thrilled to see how you have grown and developed as a person in the past couple of years....even though we have never "officially" met we have all seen you become a vital part of your dad's business and it's a joy to see how you two interact....it really is a joy to see!
