Do any of you guys or gals produce sweepers/imaging for radio as part of your job/full-time? I prefer someone who has imaging they've produced actually running on air or that has run before (on commercial radio).
I'm considering putting together an imaging demo (urban/hip-hop/jazz/and maybe top-40) and need to consider producers. As usual I don't like to produce my own demos.

btw - I will also be posting this on V123, but thought i'd open up the line of communication with this community first.
EDIT: Not sure about posting on V123 actually. |

All I can do is point to my web site, listen to my radio imaging and you decide. Then give me a call and we can discuss specifics. _________________ - Peter

My good friend Toli Matulos at Omega Productions can probably hook you up. He did an imaging package for the station I work for a few years ago. We got Mitch Phillips to do the voice and Toli produced. They whole package was bang-up!! He images stations all over the world. Drop him a line....and tell him Allen Scofield sent you.

Anthony,
Same here, 90 percent of what I do is imaging. Check out the demo's at my site. You can also check with CJ at www.earwhacked.com and Andy at www.longtrainproductions. I have them mix some of my stuff when things get in a bind. |

Total threadjack now (Sorry anthony!)
Funny story with Mitch. When we stared using him at WZEW, he had this tendency to be too aggressive sounding for the AAA sound we wanted. After several takes, the Operations Manager at the time said "Mitch, imagine you just smoked a big 'ol doobie, and are now polishing off a Martini."
That got the sound we were looking for. Great guy to work with. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

Many stations will take your dry tracks and produce the imaging themselves, so don't worry about having to produce for every gig, but to get that demo going, picking one of these pros is the way to go.
