|
|
My settings in Audition got changed when some other software was updated, and now I'm sometimes getting skips. Does anybody see anything untoward about these settings? I thought I had corrected everything but I'm still having problems.
Thanks for any suggestions you can make. |

I'd just re-install Audition. Takes three minutes and you'll go back to
the default settings. I've used this program (Cool Edit/Audition) for ten years and never had issues with the default settings. _________________ www.asapaudio.com |

I'm not certain, but if it's a stereo/two track file, I believe it defaults to whatever rate was used or opened last.
In Audition all files are initially recorded as a wav file. It doesn't become an mp3 until you save it as such. _________________ www.asapaudio.com |

You can convert to mp3 in both the edit and mulitrack views.....In AA 3, the edit view will default to mp3 in Preferences/System/Save As...the bit rate defaults to whatever you used last.
You can also mixdown in mulitrack view, where your default format and bit rate is whatever you last used |
