Help!
I'm in the middle of editing, rendering and naming 1000 + wav files for an e-learning project. It's a major league ballache. And this is only part 1 of a 7 part job.
There's got to be a better way!
I once spotted some software that would you let you import a list of filenames, input them in bulk and assign a file to each one. Then - if memory serves - you can rceord direct to the file, top and tail it and you're done; it's all named and ready to go. Hope that makes sense!
Trouble is, I can't recall what the sofware was called. Any clues anyone?
Save me some major frustration. |

Yes. I believe you'll find it here: http://www.xentec.be/
Click on "Vox Studio".
It's something like $400, but apparently worth every penny for jobs like yours.

Looks like you need something like this: http://www.word2wav.com/
I think there's a free demo for you to try. I haven't used it but I heard t5hat it's really good. _________________ www.clairedodin.com |

One trick I do when the client isn't listening in on the session (as is often the case with long format for me) is pause and then clap thrice at the end of each section I'm recording. Makes it much easier to split up an hour long session. The last two takes are usually the keepers. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

Word2wav is definitely the way to go!
I use it & love it...and for 1000+ wav file Oh YEAH major time saver.
VoxStudio does the same thing, BUT it's also a conversion program mostly for telephony formats, and if you're only in need of .wav files, word2wav is perfect and MUCH less expensive than VoxStudio.
Have fun! _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!
