I love taking a peek behind the scene! Seeing creatives at work is such a thrill, especially when it ends up sounding SO GOOD. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

fun stuff. Very well done. Makes you realize all that goes on to get a jingle.
Thanks for posting that. |

Way WAY cool. Curious...anyone know how often jingles are recorded piecemeal like that, and how often they're recorded with an ensemble? _________________ Justin S. Barrett

Justin, it happens either way. I've seen it (and recorded) hundreds of times. When you want that traditional station call with big harmonies then a set of 5 voices present at the same time will do the trick. But I've done a lot of recordings using just one singer (at a time) and layer everything a couple of times. |

When anyone asks me about becoming a Voice Overists I just short of shrugbecuase their isn't anyone I can show working and say this is HOW good you must be.
When people ask me about jingle/session singers I play clips of Catherine, Layla and the team. The perception is that to sing jingles you can be a lesser mortal ......... oh how deluded. |
