Could be a case of "Don't believe the hype" but certainly worth checking out.

Yes, indeed. As you may have seen from the article, it's being launched at an Expo in London next week. If I get the chance I'll try and get down and see what I reckon (although how much you're going to be able to tell will depend entirely on their Expo set-up, I guess). Anyway, I'll let you know.

Sure, if you put it in a properly treated room I bet it will sound great! Of course a mic without it in a properly treated room will sound great too. Wink

Love to hear your thoughts on it if you get down that way.

I am very skeptical about this one. I am sure that it "works" but I doubt that it can replace room treatment (as the copy suggests) and I think a simple curved piece of acoustical foam would be nearly as effective at a much lower cost.

With non-opposing surfaces, it shouldn't reflect any unwanted sounds... in a perfect world. But it does appear that the development of a totally portable... almost hand-held... sound room is on the horizon. Whoever can develop that concept, can sell them like hotcakes... as long as it proves comparable to standard sound room results.

I'd seen that somewhere on the web before and was wondering about it myself. Hope you get a chance to go down there and check it out.

I was thinking of getting 2, attaching the second one to the back of my neck and draping a duvet over the top! What do you think?

In all seriousness - I thought it might have an application for those of you who have a mobile set-up going. If I manage to get down there I'll report back anyway.
