... with my latest version of a movie trailer voice. I don't understand why but some folks are liking the sound. No it's definitely not the incomparable DLF style - not even close. But fun anyway.
This is not a blockbuster - I just thought some might enjoy the cinema experience.

Boffo! A great VO for a good preview
Every thing I saw was so well done. Location Photography, Production Sound, Sets and Art Direction.
Now tell me where it was shot. I’m guessing it was the early years of the LDS church, before move to Utah. Looks like upstate NY _________________ Esse quam videri "To be rather than to seem"

I know you've gotta deep voice, but man, you must have gotten up pretty early in the morning to do that one. Great work!
If you do a lot more of these we'll have to rename your home town Trailer Park City.

That is me, Trailer Trash - I laughed. And, no I was not up early. I had already voiced several spots that day and was on a roll.
Ed: Location was near Park City, Utah for much of what was in the trailer. Much will take place on location in upper New York as filming progresses.
Roger: you also made me laugh. Woofers are on the way.
Any guesses on the microphone used for this spot? I will tell you it was NOT an MKH 416 shotgun.

I'm guessing U87 Gold.
Frank, have you ever done radio imaging for "Classic Country" formats?
Your voice sounds very similar to some station imaging I've heard for that genre of radio. |
