Hi everyone,

Bob Bergen will be teaching his Advanced Animation Voiceover Workshop in NYC Sat. & Sun., Dec. 5th and 6th, 2009. This will be Bob’s last time teaching in NYC for the next few years, as he's been extremely busy with work and other things in LA, so hope you can make it.

In this "Advanced" workshop, Bob does a mock “audition and casting” of a cartoon. You'll receive the script and audition copy a week ahead of time, and have the chance to audition for up to 15 different characters. Based on the auditions, Bob casts the show. The next day at the recording session you'll be in the booth several times, as the scenes are multi cast, giving everyone a chance to perform their characters.

Everyone will receive a copy of the final audio. This is a HUGELY fun and fast-paced workshop. It's eye-opening, and an opportunity to know what it feels like to be in a cartoon series or animated film from beginning to end!! For the workshop, you’ll need to have either taken Bob’s technique class, or have taken animation voiceover technique with another coach, OR be able to create and sustain original characters. If you have a background in acting or improv, and feel you are able to create characters, that often works -- just contact Bob or I to discuss.

As many of us will be attending the 2nd Annual NYC Voiceover Mixer on Saturday, Dec. 5th -- the hours for Bob Bergen's Voiceover Class in NYC that weekend have been changed to 10am - 5pm for BOTH Saturday and Sunday. Studio location is at John Marshall Sound, 630 Ninth Avenue at 44th Street.
