My husband posted this on Facebook and I thought I'd share here. I love this. Dogs are so wonderful.... and so are our service men and women.

Thanks Caryn, Fun stuff. I miss that to a degree. I became a cat person a few years ago. They have their good points too..but there is nothing like the excitement a dog has when it's glad to see you. |

Caryn,
I love that.
I read this recently. It's titled:
"How Your Dog is Really Feeling"
Give me time to understand what you want of me.
Place your trust in me. it is crucial to my well-being.
Be aware that however you treat me I will never forget it.
Before you scold me for being lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me.
Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don’t understand your words, I do understand your voice when its speaking to me.
Remember before you hit me, I have teeth that could hurt you, but that I choose not to bite you.
Take care of me when I get old.
You have your work, your entertainment, and your friends. I have only you.
My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. any separation from you will be painful for me.
Go with me on difficult journeys. Everything is easier for me if you are there. Remember I love you... _________________ Proud member of F.U.F.F. |

Thank you Patrick and Caryn- I was hoping I could start my Saturday morning sobbing uncontrollably! Beautiful videos to watch!! (Macy wanted to sit in my lap and watch them too- she was fascinated with the barking dogs!) _________________ Threadjackers local 420

I miss my old girl ... she was the second. I think my present canine companion may be my last. It hurts too much when they go.

Very cute videos!
Kinda reminds me the old saying... "If you want to know who your real best friend is, lock your wife and your dog in the trunk for an hour. Open the trunk and see who's glad to see you." _________________ David Swinehart

That's funny Dave!!
And Paddy, I've seen that before... I love it. But the last line makes me tear up everytime. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!
