@stef I like the sound of that: "Do ya feel lucky, Slug? Well, do ya?"

I probably should have asked that of all the grape hyacinths that perished at my hand a couple weeks ago. 'Cause I was definitely feeling malevolent as I dug them out! Devil Devil

In any case, Sluggo is now a dear friend of mine... There are sooooo many of the hungry creatures 'round these parts! Sticking out Tongue

@softbutspiney Oh CC, i think the flowers look puny and the leaves just have the most awful flop to them, and they spread themselves like crazy - thus spreading the ugliness much too far and wide throughout one's yard. #anyplantyoudon'tlikeisaweed

I honestly don't like regular hyacinths all that much either, but at least the blooms are more structured and the leaves reasonably hardy and attractive. However, I did reserve the right to confine the one my MIL brought me to a pot. Wink

@youcantmakethisstuffup the sheets lament reminds me of the time my husband had to do a commercial gig from a small plane and the pilot was named Cheeto Sheets.

I find it hard to believe that most Democrats have lice and eat only photocopies of the food they like.
