From a radio comedy bit ages ago this gruff Italian gent would introduce himself as Doremi Fasolatido. I wonder how many listeners didn't catch the joke.
He used to run "Damaged Pet Warehouse" where you could get bargains on things like a giraffe with a chronic sore throat or a laughing hyena that was so depressed he wouldn't even chuckle.

lonnnngggg nickle-drops.... (D'oh!!!!) It was only a few years ago that I realised that a comic strip (panel?) family dog was NOT actually named after what seemed to be the name of a lovely fairy-tale princess ... Geddowne is NOT Gwenddolynne...
