These aren't resolutions you make in the groggy light of day on New Year's. These are action plan items that you'll be writing down and posting at your work site at home, or adding to your pop-up calendar on your devices. Things you'll do every work day or week in 2018 to make your business prosper.

If you'd like, feel free to share with us your top productivity or marketing plans for the new year. You can list them in order or just your top ones.

I’m reading a book called ‘My One Word: Change Your Life with Just One Word’

It’s premise... ‘Lose the long list of resolutions―all your sweeping promises to change―and do something about one thing this year instead of nothing about everything.’

After making my lists of things I want to do, things I want to have happen and things I want to change, I studied the list and chose my word. I’m not going to share what the word is, but I find it so top of mind that it’s changing or effecting pretty much everything I do in a very positive way.

I’m getting the feeling that if I focus on this one word for an entire year, it may just do what the author says it will. Make my list of New Year’s resolutions obsolete, but effect the way I work and live in a way that makes those same desires of change, come to fruition.

The new year is only days old, but it is a true 'Action Plan'. Whether it pans out or not remains with one of my most often used phrases... ‘We’ll see.’

I'll check back with you in 2019. Happy New Year!!!

Once again, I have no idea under the sun how to make a business plan, and I will be stomping thru the year with the additional and very interesting assignment of cataloguing all of the paintings Dieter left in my care.

The big difference between the beginning of this year and last is gratitude.

Things have been kind of rudderless for the past few years what with one thing and another, and I have missed having a gratitude connection, but there’s been nothing and/or no one to be grateful to.

The show Samurai Gourmet, episode 3, completely changed my tune.
Saying "thank you" to things isn’t unusual at Camp Cooper, but now I think of the strings of events and efforts that have brought beneficent things to me and I give thanks for those.
Thanks to all the things that conspired to let me have clean water, electricity, a car. Friends, skill, work.
And so, I bow to my refrigerator, my house, the snow, the EDM control surface that I’m still learning to use, my cameras, the cookie cupboard. The VO-BB.

どうもありがとうございま.

すべてありがとう、私の友達。
Subete arigatō, watashinotomodachi.

Thank you for everything, my friends.

And Happy New Year.

It's not 2018, it's Sunday. I may be dead tomorrow but I'm alive today and so I'll do something today to make a difference today.

I like this thread. I think I get it Philip. We are writing our own self improvement book as we go through our learning experiences. We each travel a different course that we chart for ourselves. Some choose a detailed plan and others are day-by-day.

We must take some action each day which maybe walking a dog.

Happy New Year.

I just want to simply improve my earnings in VO, provide for my family, be a good guy, make my mom and dad smile, and pay it forward to anyone who needs a hand. I mentored two guys last year, and one is already locked in two audiobooks, and his first agent. The other may get his first gig this year.

I want to keep learning from the incredible minds in here. Create. create. create. Oh, and get a U87 and 416.

The llama's been hibernating, which I had no idea llamas did. I've been tempted to wake him up, but have you seen the teeth on those things?
