I'm looking to replace my six year-old telephone headset (wired to my old-fashioned landline desk phone).

Is anyone able to recommend a good, reliable brand and model?

Thanks.

I would check and see if Alexander Graham Bell is still in business. If he is he might have a smoking deal for you.

When I still had a land line, I replaced the telco-supplied phone with a Panasonic wireless phone that came with a couple of remote receivers, one of which was in my booth. They each had a headphone jack. I got a pretty simple Plantronics headset at Staples for around $30, similar to this one, except it had a mini plug, not a USB connection.

When I abandoned the landline and started using my mobile phone, I needed to get a 2mm to 3mm adapter to be able to plug one thing into the other (I forget which was the 2 and which was the 3). Some Plantronics headsets can get pretty pricy, but I have found the bottom of the range models to be perfectly suitable.
