Stephanie posted on another board that they had the "Remember Me" problem fixed but it still ain't working for me.
Another thing that's new but not necessarily improved is you used to be able to name your saved reply templates but now they just show up in a drop-down menu differentiated by the first line of text. Unfortunately for me, I always begin my replies with "Thank you for the opportunity to audition ..." so every saved template in my list looks like every other one.

Gotta agree that the new site is very cumbersome. I have to log in every time, the site won't remember my login info. You've got to click into every lead to delete it instead of toggling/deleting a bunch from the main list. The "Overview" and "Job Posting" tabs really should be merged into one tab with all the info. Lots of unnecessary clicking.
I've picked up a few great on-going clients through Voices over the last few years and I prefer it over the mess that is V123 big time... but this "upgrade" is more of a detriment, IMHO. It would've made more sense to just speed up the old site and keep using the old, proven interface.

Well the old interface wasn't great, either...lots of unnecessary clicking there, too.

Some of these things are SO trivial to fix...the login thing not working is like, literally, changing three or four lines of code in their login scripts so there's zero reason that it would still be not working after a couple years.

I've also talked both to Stephanie and David personally about them setting up SPF so that their e-mails don't get flagged as spam. This is another 30-second fix and still not done. I even gave them the exact text they could use for it initially. They both seemed to be "concerned" that it wasn't in place, but it's just crazy that it's still not in...SPF was supposed to be set up for all domains 4 years ago!

At this point I'm not really sure why they spent the time / money / effort to make all of these changes.

I have to agree.... I've been using the new site all week, and it is very time consuming to use with all the extra clicking, having to sign in b/c it doesn't rmeember me, having to space my reply template b/c it doesn't save it with the paragraphs I had created, etc! And, for me, it's WAY slower than the old site.

I dread using it every day, to be honest. I hate to say that b/c I love the folks at voices.com.

I mostly agree with all the comments. I am frustrated by the need to make changes without adequate research and testing. I do not like the pay-to-play concept in the first place and think it is generally detrimental to the VO biz. I had someone at one of the sites tell me that the talent buyers were equally their customers. We are the paying customers but the sites are geared more to aid the buyers who are not paying. The concept of "bidding" for work lowers the buyer's expectations. That's my soapbox special for today. Can you tell I am frustrated?

Greg,

To be fair, at Voices.com the people doing the hiring are customers of the site, at least if they use the SurePay system.
