Google says
Quote:
Watercress runs wild in Ireland. It's been used in Irish cooking since ancient times.

This, I did not know… though the picture does kind of say it all… Shocked

They're coming out with a new "Green" Batman movie. I hear that the main villainess is named "Wild Watercress".

Yes, as a matter of fact. She's Wanda Wilhelmina Watercress, or Wawa as most of us know her (her family has a sense of humor!). Wawa and her family operate a huge watercress farm in the bog country of Western Oregon. As you might have guessed they're the ones who developed this luscious green back in the mid 1800's so it's named after them, just like broccoli is named after the family of Albert Broccoli, the first James Bond film producer.

She's the face, and occasionally the body (whew!), of watercress for all of their promotional events, and she's even lovelier in person!

She's Wawa's evil twin...the green-sheep of the family.

Wawa actually does have a nice voice. I dug through the files and found the raw file of a recording session she did for their radio/TV campaign back in 2008:

Watercress Recording Session w/Wanda

Has anyone noticed how many four leaf clovers are in the background? Or is everyone stuck on the obvious?
