Had a lot of fun in a recording session yesterday being directed once again by the incomparable Katie Leigh. See the highlights here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFBSsgLXsX0&list=UUVDCZL16bG5NLbCWbbqIdow&feature=share

Cool! And fun!

Unnecessary abstract side thought: Close your eyes while Dave does his grunts and it sounds like someone severely constipated. Gasp

Nice.

I'm interested in your recording environment. Was that an IPad or an IPad mini you were using with her?

Also, the sound panels in your recording area. Purchased or DIY?

I like the layout. Seems very functional.

(Loved looking over your shoulder. Thanks!)

That was an iPad, which I originally purchased to read scripts off of, but then decided to do 2 monitors in the studio instead...so now it's used for important things like Candy Crush...and the occasional SKYPE session.

The sound panels are from ATS. They have a ton of different fabrics...I opted for something a little more natural in feel.

That was fun to watch! How did you manage to do those while sitting in the chair?

Truth be told, I probably should have stood up to do those...just like I probably should have used the RE20. I thought it was only going to be 1 or 2 grunts, so I left my setup as is...but it turned out to be quite a few more lines. But it all worked out well. Smile

Dave, what was the name of the desk mount used for the ipad? I like how compact it looks. Thanks.
