Hello people of the padded rooms!
I'm looking for a Sennheiser 416, preferrably with mount and windscreen.
Doesn't have to be new just in perfect condition.
I'm trying to avoid paying the dreaded RETAIL
Thanks

There's a couple good sellers on eBay that have deals. You can find a 415 for around $550 right now with the tpower to 48V converter. The seller is reputable. |

Based on Eddie's recommendation, I got a 415 (after selling my 416)
They can be had for a better price than a 416. For my voice the 415 seems to work slightly better. I'm really happy with mine.
But I am NOT dissing the 416, just to be clear to all of my 416 buddies out there. |

I have the 413. It is very rare and thought to be highly unlucky... so they only made 8 of them. I have two of them so the bad luck cancels out. I will sell it to you for $16,000. It sounds so good. Vintage shotguns are the best.
Wait, you may need both so the bad luck does not befall you. Nevermind. I can't part with both. My sound will unhinge for sure without it. _________________ Ben

Hey DC,
At a year ago I purchased a Sennheiser MKH416 for just over $800 from Full Compass--brand new. I bargained a bit and the young man caved...just a thought... I hate paying full retail for anything...http://www.fullcompass.com
