12-bar blues in C minor, played by Coltrane and written by him for bassist Paul Chambers. Pretty recognizable tune for modern jazz.

Mr PC is a Coltrain song. Written for Paul Chambers. Fast tune, usually in C minor. Great opportunity for bass solos.......:) _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Moe, it is wonderful to hear about your son playing music. Mr Redmond just received another vote! Teachers can make such a tremendous impact. Joe, my 13yr old plays a mean alto sax. He just finished up a jazz clinic led by Bobby Watson (who was just nominated in the first round of the Grammy picks). It was such a treat to watch and listen to the 9 bands that performed last night. Joe, a 7th grader, had the privileged to be playing with one of the area's top high school jazz bands, He has been fortunate to have been taught by some awesome music teachers who have made so many big contributions to so many kids. Teachers do make a difference!
Cheers,
Jeff |

My vote is in, Moe.
My youngest son finishes his teaching degree next month. I have a soft place in my heart for such a noble profession.
Be Blessed
