The tune is called Listen to Me.

NEW LINK FOR FOLKS WHO COULDN'T SEE THAT ONE:

Listen to Me.

If it appears as text in your browser, right-click it to download. It should play just fine.

7 minutes of metal.

Bo is the tall kid with the hat on-- on the left side of your screen playing guitar.

heh.
I ran three cameras and made the best of it.
It was the excuse I needed to learn Final Cut.

Have mercy.

Ditto. Can't see the video, but the sound was gud.

And, the song reminds me that Miles Davis has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Fusing, def!!!

I've been on a Muzikal Terror for the past month and I really dug the tune. I needed a bit more on the vocal as I really like the melodic nuisances, and the melodic content was somewhat more obscure than I'd desired. As I can't see the video, I didn't know if the group is a trio or quartet. I missed a couple of lead lines (actually, I didn't miss them but I heard stuff inside my head and the muzik that I would love to have heard manifest).

Nice job. Great energy.

Well, I think it stinks that some of you can't see it.

I wonder if Quicktime will let me save as a QT5 or 6 file?

I may take the time to snoop around tonight.

DB - That is a great cover of the old Buddy Holly song! Just in case you couldn't hear the lyrics, here they are:

Listen To Me and hold me tight
And you will see our love so right
Hold me darling
Listen closely to me

Your eyes will see what love can do
Reveal to me your love so true
Listen To Me, Listen closely to me

I've told the stars you're my only love
I want to love you tenderly
Those same bright stars in heaven above
Know now how sweet - sweethearts can be

Listen To Me hear what I say
Our hearts can be nearer each day
Hold me darling, Listen closely to Me

Now play it again and follow the bouncing ball!

Couldn't see it at work. Can at home. No idea what the difference is.

NICE WORK DB! Some creative, fades I guess they call them. I especially like one I just saw around the 4:10 mark.

The band sounds clean, nice and tight. I like it. I do wish the vocals cut a bit better, but overall that's fantastic. How long have they been playing together?

I'm not much for the 'satan' style of singing, but the chorus was actually pretty good. Your son is a really good player and I like his sound. I've been playing metal for close to 20 years and can appreciate this sort of thing.

Couple of questions about the video. What camera(s) were you using? Did you cut this on Final Cut Express?

You did a really nice job with it!

About the cameras:

I have a Canon Optura 20 for the tripod/ overall stage shot and audio.

I used 2 rovers: another little Canon DV camera and an old RCA VHS cam.

Yes, I used Final cut.

I'm still messing about with the codecs to see if I can get a compressed movie that everyone can access.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.
