The site just put up their new design and I'm having several issues with it. Anybody else having problems?

I'm not yet satisfied with the new design and not totally sure it was ready to go live.

Yeah, call me old-fashioned but I liked it just fine the old way.

Now I have to rewrite my bios, etc.

And the new audition system is not at all user friendly.

To preview your auditions, you click a link to listen to the file you uploaded, then you have to hit the back button to get back so you can submit the audition.

I'm not real happy about it at this time. I see nothing that is an improvement over the old system....

...except that now they give you more details about the status of the audition, etc.

Doc,

Lots of broken links (I emailed them about a few I found tonight) and plenty of other glitches. The most serious glitch, at least to me, is that they didn't transfer my account information properly! We'll see how all of that is resolved.

Check your Account Type under Account Details. Mine shows me as a Premium Lite member at $39.95 a month even though on October 8, I set up a Premium membership at $299 a year. Just emailed them to have this corrected.

Also, has anyone else noticed that when you click on any of the categories the same names come up on every page?

IMO, the most serious bug is that your old profile site USERNAME.voices.com doesn't redirect to the new profile page and the existing content is busted. So if you have your old Voices.com profile page linked from anywhere, visitors might get a bum page.

I believe they're working on these bugs. I was mortified to see that my pic took up almost the right hand side of the page!

The job leads are not yet tailored to those we specified interest in, but they're aware of that. So you're getting masses that have nothing to do with your skills.

Check your page copy as well, to see that there are no strange symbols on the page, or gobblelygook nonsense words on the page (such as you use for a mock up of a website). you'll have to sort that out manually yourself.

I reckon it'll all come together in the end...but I already miss my nice pink page.

Thanks for the reminder Jeff, that now we have to relink anything that was hooked up to the v.com page.

In edit mode, my featured demo was an English woman singing "Fly Me to the Moon"...however once I let it be, it righted itself to present my dulcet tones on my profile page. In other words...you don't have to re-upload your demos.
