...a day that will be slow on the internet....actually that's just an aside.

In truth, I have to work today... 4 newscasts solo... but I thought this might be a good time to vent my thanks...

1) For Deirdre, and this board, and all its denizens
2) For the many close relationships I've developed here
3) For the challenges, joys, and rewards I've found in voice acting
4) For health, humor, and hash browns
5) For living in the best place on Earth...even in a recession

Thanks to YOU....

I'm thankful for

    A warm bed
    A goofy but good house
    Healthy offspring
The technology that lets me get to know you all.

We're getting a late start to the day and it's just right.
Guitar Boy will arrive sometime this afternoon.

Life is grand.

Yup. Thankful for family, health, happiness, my friends here, near and far. This is the first day I've taken completely OFF in 2 weeks. We baked a turkey and took it over to the homeless shelter this morning. We're going up to my nephew's home today in the OC to feast, kick back & play Guitar Hero.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! And may your pies be tasty and not stay on your gut or your thighs.

We're enjoying a quiet day with family and friends here in North Carolina. Cinda made food in abundance, which we'll eat again (left-overs, yum!) for supper. I have a couple of small things to do later, but it's a day mostly off; which feels really nice.

As has all ready been said multiple times, I too am deeply grateful for the friends I've made here. I'm so glad to have had a chance to connect with many of you in person and I'm looking forward to making even more of those connections in coming days, weeks and months.

Yes I am thankful for today... and will be more thankful tomorrow when we get to eat turkey at my sons' house.

I'm thankful for...
Having a great wife who has put up with me for all these years.
Two kids with great careers.
Just enough good health so I realize that God isn't done with me yet.
Just enough income to keep us out of the poorhouse... but not too much money, so I still get on my knees daily.
And the many friends I've made on this board.
