I've been asked to do some phone interviews and I have Skype. I checked out some of their a s and the voice recorders cost a few bucks. Has anyone recorded Skype conversations and if so, using what program? Would Audio Highjack work? _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

Tom,
I'm not sure but I think a search of the Gear or Chat archives will yield some threads about recording Skype calls. _________________ Be well,

i have done it by simply "solo-ing" my computer pot on my board and running it back into AA. seemed to work pretty well. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Bless your heart Todd, but I have absolutely no idea what you just said!
I did some digging and I found three free Skype recorders for PC:
MX Skype Recorder
Power Gramo
Skype Recorder
Does anyone have experience with any of these programs? _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

There is also "Pamela Recorder" for Skype.
As for MXSkype, great program.
Be sure to set any of these programs to "Save sound in Stereo mode" which records the audio on separate tracks of a stereo file. This way you are able to edit the audio much easier.
Toodles
