I remember (barely) going to see "Miss Louise" (NY's Romper Room "teacher") at a live appearance when I was a teeny-weeny kid back in Lawn Guyland. Just what happened or what was said I have no idear, but there was something magical about actually seeing Miss Louise in person. Better than Stewie going to London just to find out his beloved Miss Whoever was in actuality a nahsty slag....

Great job Diane -- the photos, the difinitive photo essay of the event -- and bringing the thread back -- I was getting whiplash from the thread jack! _________________ http://MichaelSchoen.com |

I had a great time. It was nice to see so many people that I know but never met! _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

I did get to hug -- Liz, the huggable lady that she is -- but somehow the cameras missed that one. _________________ http://MichaelSchoen.com |

Hello all!
I just finished Bob B"s class here in the big apple... perhaps it was for the best I missed the mixer,,, it would have been grand to yak it up with so many of the faces I met at Voice2008.... on the other hand getting sleep so I was more alert for the class was probably a very good thing!!
I head back to Maine this morning after three glorious night in the Jazz ostel on the park... ( cough)....
sorry to miss you all!
Jason
PS... my wonderful dog has crossed the rainbow bridge and frolicks once more in fields chasing a near endless array of rabbits and squirells.. none of which she actually catches... and the skunks have no scent.... I have been so fortunate to have been able to be with her 24/7 for the last three months of her time with me.... I know it eased theoassing for the both of us.... thanks for the thoughts from all of you.... it really helped me through the process...... |
