In every house or home, in every kitchen or kitchen/diner (the kitchen part not the / part or the diner part) you will find a teaspoon. For we Voice Over Artists or “l'au chômage” as our French friends call us, teaspoons can raise our level. Obviously simply standing on a few will raise our level but my thoughts and extensive training are focused on raising the level of our performance.

Unarticulated cranial delivery is well known in most pro circles but for those who have never tried it I urge you to try it the next time you have the opportunity to try it, after you’ve mastered the technique. No point trying to do something you’ve never learned.

In your booth place one of two spoons below the point of optimal vocal delivery reception; if you have a Neumann U87 that point is anywhere near the mic. Should you be the proud yet deluded owner of a Sennheiser MKH416 you’ll need to use the following equation to calculate your point of optimal vocal delivery reception nx4.5t>32o¬lt| 43mm=pos2. It’ll take a few months but as with most things you’ll think it was worthwhile and the divorce was on the cards any way.

Having performed the above task you’ll notice no significant change in your signature sound, this is where the second spoon comes in!

Unarticulated cranial delivery relies on light reverse molecular polarities; so by balancing a second teaspoon on the crown of your head in a mirror position to the point of optimal vocal delivery reception spoon de-synchronous ions move sympathetically to enhance warmth and brilliance portions of the audio spectrum.

Upper spinal emphatic rigidity must be maintained and the cranium unmotionisized in so far as is possible. The resultant eye-lock on the copy and non-disruptive mandibular oration will lift performance and tonality in a bi-teaspoonal tandem.

Philip, I'm going to borrow this, if you don't mind. By adding a little pelvic tilt I'm sure I can have my yoga students doing the teaspoonasana in no time. And there would be one less equation involved.

Mandy,

You are correct. An MHK-416P48 is not required for yoga. Laugh

To attain that larger than life sound so many strive for, bi-teaspoonal tandem may not be sufficient. A solution may be obtained by using a complementary technique by which one multiplies the amount of actual metal in each teaspoon x¥ and subtracts the weight of the silver plate in grandma's tea service. The result will yield the amount of sheet metal needed to provide the perfect resonance relative to posture in relation to the mic. Minor adjustments may need to be made for abdominal and/or posterial abundance in order to maintain the correct posture positioning in the mouth, mic, metal isoscelean.

Thanks for the teaspoon tip. Salad bowls make great reflection filters, and if you hold a knife or other pointed cutlery between your lips and the mic it splits the signal into stereo.
