LOL! That's great. I will take the train or have Dan and kids drop me off. See you very soon! _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

And if you need a ride home after our meal, I will be happy to drop you off. Since I'll be giving Chrissy a ride home anyway and all. _________________ Be well,

Well we sure had fun in Boston (technically Cambridge) today. I can't think of a better early (by one week exactly) birthday present than to have been able to spend time with these wonderful friends.
From left to right, Don Goonan, Greg Littlefield, Mandy Nelson, CC Petersen, DB Cooper, me, Chris Fadala, Chris’ daughter Delana and Lee Gordon.
I wasn't the only one with a camera today.
Deirdre had hers out and was snapping away almost the moment she walked through the door.
And Mandy had hers at the ready as well. Hopefully we'll see some shots from those cameras shortly.
It was ever so nice to meet for the first time so many who have become friends across the last few years. And of course, getting to spend time with Deirdre is always a great joy.
If all goes well, I'll have more photos to post tomorrow afternoon because I hope to have breakfast with a couple more voice actors before I return home tomorrow. _________________ Be well,

I'm still lost. Driving around in circles. I think I'm back in Somerville.
Just kidding. Even with a pit stop I was back home in CT by 8.
It was great meeting all of you in "real life." _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Thanks, Deebs. I figured I should check in since a couple of ya were concerned. I had my friends on CD to keep me warm, though. Plus, there was some sort of nasty wreck that shut down 95 through Augusta, so I had to drive back streets all through that area for quite a few miles. That keeps the ol' noggin alert.
I'm going to have to watch the Dunkin Donuts intake at night, though. I woke right up at 2:30. oy Can't wait to hear what comes out of my mouth this morning... _________________ Greg Littlefield

Greg, Deirdre and Lee ...
I'm very glad to see that you've all made it home safely. I'm about to have breakfast with Steve Anthony and then I'm heading home to Charlotte. I can't stop smiling I had such a good time with everyone yesterday. _________________ Be well,

I must say, it was a real treat to finally meet and talk to all these fine folks in person. There's a part of me that feels a little guilty that I was probably home before Lee made it out of Cambridge. .
The venue was nice, the food was good, and of course the company was great. The only thing that could have been better would be if we had a giant round table and that EVERYONE could have been there. That Bob guy can really bring the folks together, and for that we are all grateful, I'm sure. |

I'm thinking some time in Spring we ought to have a little get-together in New Haven. That way it wouldn't be too daunting a journey for the Boston area (& Southern ME & NH) folks, and the NY-NJ crew could hop on the train and, as they say, "the twain could meet." _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

It was SO good to see everybody and finally meet the folks I hadn't met. BOB, it was a distinct pleasure to meet you, and I haven't forgotten your offer of VO advice when needed!
Glad everybody got home safely! We're still without internet and cable here in our neck of the woods, so we drilled our way out of the driveway (more branches fell last night) and came over to an internet cafe.
will check in again soon!
