Just spoke with Moe again via cell and they're STILL out of power as well.
May not get it back till the end of the week!

I HAVE MY POWER BACK!!
First few days it's fun playing Little House ...after four days, it starts to seem more like the Omega Man. My husband took the youngins to his sister's house on Saturday, I held the fort down with the dog and the bird...went through a lot of fire wood, bundled under a lot of blankets. Did a lot of reading and total decompression that one can only do in the 1820s...I have discovered two things:
I don't like being cold, and I'd make a lousy hermit.
Still don't have internet (I'm writing from a coffee shop with wifi...had to down load scripts which I'll bring home to print, then voice, then come back tomorrow to email.) Thanks for the kind thoughts. It's nice to be back in the 21st Century!
Off to get home and crash into a WARM BED

While viewing the network news the images of all that ice on the power lines made me think of all you folks back east and living in the hardest hit areas. I'm glad power is restored to many. Sounds like a lot more may be going "without" until possibly the end of the week!

Glad to see some normalcy returning. Ugh, when we had that ice storm and were w/o power for a week.....
I still get reminded of that every time they predict ice. I get that "look" from my wife about having a back up generator.
