Everything checks out on my Skype setup, using the same version as F2.
Problem: they can just barely hear me on the other end.
Using headset/mic combo through a Creative soundcard with everything cranked.

Do you have the box checked which states "Let Skype adjust my audio settings"?
If so, un-check that box, then adjust your microphone volume to "high".
Also you might check to see if there is an additional setting which has been changed in the Windows "Volume Control". See if Skype is using the "Mic" setting there as a control or the main volume setting may be low.
Good luck.

Donno Frank.
Everything says go and I can hear me on the test call but the volume is about half of the 'bot on the test. |
