Hi there - in a play that opens January 16th (Relatively Speaking) - need realistic copy for announcement at a train station.

The train is leaving from London to Lower Pendon, Bucks. It is the final announcement before the train leaves the station.

Actually looking for the last two announcements - to set up the actor missing her train.

Format would be someting like - The East Midlands Trains 1830(time) service to Northampton is now departing from platform 7 - calling at Amersham, lower Pindon and Northampton. Passengers for Lower Pindon are advised to use the front three carriages of the train due to the length of the platform at Lower Pindon.

Left

The East Midlands Trains 1830(time) service to Northampton has now departed from platform 7. The next train to arrive at platform 7 will be the the South west trains non stop service from Bristol Templemeads.

Love you...

I'm sure there is a train announcer "style" as well. Anyone of you Brits interested in sending me an mp3 with what Philip wrote here? You could be heard on the American stage - with full credit in the program (if sent forthwith as the program has not been printed yet).

Community Theatre - labor of love...

I must absolutely concur - not only did I just receive an mp3 - but a phone call from Scotland as well. My day is made.

Thank you Philip!

There's something quite wonderful about those phone calls from Scotland. I think it's mainly the kind and good man on the other end of the phone, maybe.

I could see a directory with this in a booth.

Yeah, that was nice, but I'm looking for a bit less SEPTA in your delivery. Could you maybe make it a bit more AMTRAK?

And since it's for a children's show, Toss in a little LGB with some steam.

Shocked
