Wow! Thanks for sharing! I've skydived twice in my lifetime: Once at 19, and again at 44 ( five plus years ago), and the wing suit scares the crap outta me. Yep, I wanna do it.

While surfing last evening I ran across a documentary about the same thing. In this instance the guy got too close to the cliff so he deployed his chute. He then blew into the wall and bounced down the cliff face until he was stopped by some trees and bushes along the way.

The lucky man only suffered a broken leg and the cost of a helicopter rescue. If not for the local flora, he woulda been toast.

I imagine a cliff side rescue is pretty risky for the chopper crew too.

Me ME MEMEMEMEME. I'd love to do that. The losing the skis part though, not so much. Well, I'm a boarder, but the point is I'm not going to let me board just fall down a cliff and go get a new one for the next run. Jumping would be fun!
