|

OK I just wanted to remind everyone that during this time of moving it is understandable that everyone is excited. That being said let's bear in mind that there is a lot of expensive equipment in this place and we need to be careful with it. That means turning off the power and letting it cool down before boxiing it and no jerking the plug out of the wall. Just relax and take it easy with the stuff and all will be ok.
Next item. There is so much Furalex in this place that I think we need to organize a party to take down the Furalex and organize it so it goes back up in the new place without becoming a disaster. Maybe number each piece or something. It might also be a good idea to get it cleaned somehow...there are places where the lama...well you know....speaking of the lama's we need someone who can transport all of the animals and not just the lama's. We also need someone who can take care of making sure the cages, food, water, dishes, litter boxes, collars, leashes, etc...maybe now we can finally find the ferret harness. Also who ever it is that takes care of the animal stuff can we please have some fresh supplies for the cages. Things are lookin a little shabby and I am sure our furred and feathered friends would also like something clean and or new. New place new pet stuff it's a simple concept.
Speaking of simple concepts perhaps we can finally get someone to clean the kitchen and clean out the fridge. Yeah yeah I know "I'm not cleaning the fridge I never made that mess in there and I am not going to put my hands anywhere near a hairy grey pizza." Funny you know, no one knows how it got dirty in there..it just somehow magically got that way and no one knows anything about it because they would never make a mess like that. Well someone has to clean it up. (personally I think I'm sick that day myself).
Last but not least, I don't know if anyone has been out back lately and taken a look at the watercress patch?? That's what I thought. The thing is so overgrown it was difficult to get the back door open. Once I did I had to get a machete and cut my way out to the back up generator. Suppose we would have had a power outage???? We have a lot of nice stuff here and we are all very privileged to be able to have pets, hot and cold running watercress a nice lounge to sit in and share things with each other in a a way that can't be done anywhere else. Come on people we are letting this place go. No one seems to care anymore about how the place looks. I am glad we are moving it gives us a chance to start fresh. With that in mind lets make it a point to keep the upkeep at the new place. DB spent a lot of money on the new building and if you haven't been over there to see the new place yet you are missing out. It's got that perfect "At Home" vibe to it. I don't know how she does it all. But she is Deebs after all...superwoman eat your heart out and all that stuff. There is probably a lot more here than what I have covered. I'm sure you will want to add to this but I gotta tell you ...there have been some great times in this old place....I'm gonna miss her. |

Why the hell did we spend all the money on movers and a cleaning crew if WE have to do all this crap.
I am SO sick and tired of vendors being hired and then we're told we have to do their jobs FOR them.
Its like the f-ing script writers. They sell the client on a script and either English isn't the client's first language or they're at a 1st grade reading level because the spelling and grammar on these damn scripts are atrocious!! Are the client NOT reading the scripts?! Are the SCRIPTWRITERS not reading the scripts! Jeez!
And who has to fix them? Us...IN the booth with a client waiting on deadline for approval. This sucks, I feel so used! AGAIN! _________________ - Peter

Hey... I'm a writer. We're not all idjits. Just look at this nice pile of watercress bags I've made over here next to the cake straighteners and latte organizers. I'm just doing the best I can under difficult circumstances and this is the thanks I get...

I hope the new place has a restroom. Walking two blocks to use the one at the gas station was sad... especially with the long line of VO folks. And then there was that toilet paper issue. _________________ "Bailey"

I remember back in the old days when we had to get on a cross-town bus to get to a bathroom from the old site. We had to put up with all the folks with the loud radios and cheesy cheap condenser mics. Then there were the little old ladies talking to themselves and the cat people ... and then when we got to the bathroom, there'd be a gang of nasty producers hogging up all the toilet paper and teasing the girls as they went in.
I expect the new place will be sooo perfect! I hear tell there's a massage table and cabana boy (for the ladies) and cake deliveries every day. And, free Neumanns for all new members... why, this'll be VO-BB heaven!!
Can I get an Aymen?? _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

Someone say cake?? Chocolate I hope.
I have a dolly and a truck. Are we ready? Got to get those moving blankets off the hagers and walls so we can use them to pack.
Someone have an RE20 we can use to hammer nails with? I hear they are that rugged. _________________ Gregory Best

Sorry I took so long in there. I was recording a couple of radio spots on my Samson USB and a laptop.

Yeah. In retrospect, maybe stapling it all to the bathroom walls wasn't such a good idea after all. _________________ the Amy Snively family of brands for all your branded thing needs.

I can certainly understand that Amy. It said "Super Absorbent" how were you supposed to know?
(and you know you looked a whole bunch smaller when you came out of there. I say you were pretty dehydrated when all was said and done. |

Well Bob, maybe there are seven circles of Heaven to balance out the seven circles of Hell. And so, if you look at it that way, we're just moving up to a higher circle of Heaven...
Hey!! Moving guy! Watch out with that latte machine! It's a sacred item in this joint. And don't drop it on the way out...
sheesh...
Now, where was I... oh yeah... Heaven...

CC,
Dante did in fact write 7 circles of Heaven. And thanks for keeping an eye on the machinery. _________________ Be well,
