There's just too much missing in the new board, and I can't seem to fix the broken punctuation and non-English characters.

I have a plea for assistance on the phpBB message board (not another VO board, so we know it exists) and I will let you know how things progress.

I don't have the style overridden. There are three styles to choose from: SubSilver(basic), Chronicle (Pirate), Comic Book— the normal.

Another "feature" of the BB3 platform seems to be that it is much slower to use. Maybe it's just me and my congested office network, but the profusion of extra gifs and stuff that needs to load seems to make for a much less zippy browsing experience. That's not specific to VO-BB, another site I frequent has gone to version three this week, and it's the same there.

OK, I've got the comic book style in by default here again, and will see what I can do about making over the phpBB3 board into the same style— I rather liked the big buttons of the style we tried at the new board, but what do you all think?

And Charles— I've noticed the same thing. Dunno why it's so slow, really— the image-rendering demands are not that much greater than here. I need to do more messing about before I try to move us again.
