Are they looking for a cheap professional... or professional cheap?
Will they guarantee 5 per day... for the rest of my life?

You guys are so greedy. $20 for 30 seconds is $2400 an hour! That's $96,000 a week! Nobody needs $96,000 a week!

10 a day is $1000 a week. Not bad supplemental income if you have the time in your schedule.

But what are the chances that he's have 10 a day? Or even 10 a month? I'm thinking 0.

it's not always about the money.
that'd be maddening to do 10 a day, 50 a week. and then, probably not good for your career arc, actually.

Slim to none. But hypothetically, it could be good income if they're given to you in volume.

Actually, the ad said $20 for .30 seconds - DECIMAL POINT 30 seconds.

That's $2000 for 30 seconds of copy @ $20 per .3 seconds of VO.
I don't usually break it down into three tenths of a second increments, but I like her rates. That's Phillip Banks territory.

Saw that on Guru. Is it a bad thing that I spend more time seeing what the others "pros" charge for the projects awarded them on Guru than I do working on the current leads?

I laughed when I saw that one today as well. Knowing me, I'll probably check tomorrow to see how many people submitted auditions.
