They had a segment on NHL Channel on DirecTV with Mike Lange who announces for the Penguins NHL Team.
On game day his schedule goes like this. He shows up at the morning skate before a game about 10 am where both teams are on the ice warming up and goes over stats and players with both teams mgt. then goes to the locker room afterwards to talk to some of the players, then heads to lunch to finish off his notes and comments before the game, then does about 1/2 hour of sound bites for the game and is done till game time. He says it works really well for him as he has everything outlined and ready to go at game time ready to announce the evening event. |
