found HERE so that you may vote for your three favorite choices in the Unofficial Announcer Auditions for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

My thanks to all the participants. Great job by all!

Due to the obvious anti-British sentiment within the judging panel I shall of course disassociate myself with this project.

Very cool, I have had one female voice talent comment she'll boycott because there were no female nominees and now Britain is abstaining for similar reasons!

Woot! More publicity er, controversy!

Let me know if you plan to picket, I'll have mrs. audio'connell bake up cookies and I'll fire up the hot chocolate. Also let me know the picketing times so I may alert the TV stations.

You have to be done by 7PM ET though as that's when the baby goes to bed. Wake him, and you'll have my Sicilian wife to deal with...I promise you you'll lose that one.

Your signs can say almost anything and you can chant anything except swear words, again because of the children.

Dress warmly and we'll see you soon Wink

Just bought an old oil drum from ebay which will be used as a brazier along with some second hand placards/banners.

"Hilary 4 Governor"

"Ratify IRA 401"

"Out troops from Iraq" - I can't imagine they're all gay

Another was a placard for Mac users so sadly I'm unable to read it.

A female is boycotting the voting because no females made the cut?

Cry me a freakin' river.

Most of the entries by guys didn't make it to the finals either.
MOST OF THEM. They didn't make it because they weren't good enough.

Does it not occur to her that it's possible that's the same reason the entries made by females didn't make the cut?

To be fair all the finalist are dangling their feet in the pool of mediocrity. I get the impression they set low standards for themselves which they consistently failed to achieve.

I would suggest that the winner change his name to avoid career melt down.

Awful contest. Lawyers and local hygiene dept advised.

I'm a Bruce fan...but Scofield might have that younger metrosexual tone they're looking for (sorry to both of you Smile).

Regardless...they're really giving Jimmy a show? He couldn't interview his own reflection.

I'm livid that there weren't any people named Lance Blair in the contest. Livid.

NOT sounding like an old school announcer type, is a GOOD thing - unless that's your groovy bag.

Oh now... Like Lance, I thought Allen's was pretty darn good. Gotta put the ear to the last round.

No Elizabeth Cady Stanton? No Susan B. Anthony?

Well the picketers never showed up so I had to eat all the cookies and drink all the hot chocolate myself.

Which means today I have a stomach ache and a burnt tongue.

But the voting is underway with clearer heads prevailing and I hope you will all stop by and support your fellow pros in their quest to be the official "unofficial" winner for 2009. Don't leave your peers hanging!

It's interesting to see how people are voting. It will also be interesting to see if this "American Idol" style of voting works (having judges narrow down the field and then having the public pick the winners).

It seemed more reasonable to me to have people listen to 10 auditions versus 80 but I did want to get in as many folks to enter as wanted to.

Ah well, it sure is fun for me to watch. Thanks everyone for participating, I hope you're enjoying it too cause that's why I do it!
