Hello All!
Haven't been here in a while but I have been busy in the VO world. Now I have yet another Soundforge question. Some jobs require me to save in .wav using 48 hz on 24 Bit and it's worked great so far (I use Scott Studios Wave).
But yesterday I tried to save a file on wave with the exact same numbers above and a box came up that says Scott Studios information where you need to fill out things like Title, Artist, Trivia/Cue Out (I dont' know what that means) and other technical details. When I typed in the name I wanted to say the file with it just saved it with letters and numbers, SP0000.Wav.
Then when I tried to save a separate take on wave with again the same numbers above, the recording replaced what I had under SP0000.Wav now its gone.
So, how can I save separate files with proper titles on wave using soundforge?
Please get in touch with me if you can help out because I have a project due Monday.
Take care,
Mary |

Now I feel so stupid. My mistake was using Scott Studios Wave instead of Microsoft. I remember advice someone about using one and not the other and I got them mixed!
Sorry if I took up anyone's time at my message!!
I think this will solve everything now.

I was going to say... "Don't use 'Scott Studio's WAVE", unless you have a Scott Studio's broadcast automation system... PCM WAVE (Microsoft) is the uncompressed format (without timestamp and additional information) that is most widespread and has virtually no compatibility issues. Glad your troubles are over! |
